Low Calories Cornbread For Diet Menu

Cornbread
This bread recipe is suitable for your diet, it's low in calories so you can add this Cornbread recipe to your diet list menu.

Ingredients to make Cornbread recipe :
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup plain fat-free yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 egg
Preparation and Method to make Cornbread recipe :
  1. Combine all the ingredients until just mixed.
  2. Pour into a sprayed (greased) microwavable ring pan or microwavable dish with a glass in the center.
  3. Place the pan or dish on a upsidedown saucer in microwave.
  4. Let stand for 5 minutes in microwave.
  5. Then, for a 1200 watt microwave, cook on high for 3 minutes until dry on top.
  6. Serve the cornbread (plain, with garlic butter or even peanut butter) while warm.
