  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pound Alaskan cod
  • 5 large tomatoes, chopped
Preparation and Method to make Alaskan Cod and Shrimp with Tomato recipe :
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook and stir the garlic in the oil until golden brown.
  2. Add the tomatoes and mix well until juicy; stir in 1 teaspoon oregano.
  3. Lie the cod and shrimp into the mixture; season with salt; cover and simmer 3 minutes. Flip the cod and season again with salt and 1 tablespoon oregano; re-cover and cook another 3 minutes.
  4. Remove the cover and allow to cook until the juice evaporates slightly, 2 to 3 minutes.

Ingredients to make Ham Bone Soup recipe :

  1. 1 ham bone with some meat
  2. 1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  3. 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
  4. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  5. 1 (15 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes with juice
  6. 1 cup chopped cooked ham, or amount leftover
  7. 1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
  8. 1 (14 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  9. 3 potatoes, peeled and diced

Preparation and Method to make Ham Bone Soup recipe :

  1. Place the ham bone into a large pot and fill with enough water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes. Add the onion and tomatoes, then stir in the frozen mixed vegetables and potatoes.
  3. Simmer for about 20 minutes, then add the macaroni, rice, and chopped ham.
  4. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Any ham on the bone should come off easily.
  6. Stir in the tomato sauce and let cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
