Delicious and Low Calories Marinara recipe for Diet

This Marinara recipe is very delicious and easy to made, it's also low in calories. You can serve this recipe with spaghetti and I'm sure you'll like it.

Ingredients to make Marinara recipe :
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 1/2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
Preparation and Method to make Marinara recipe :
  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Stir in onion, garlic and celery and cook until soft.
  3. Pour in tomatoes and tomato paste, stir, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in parsley, basil, oregano, salt and pepper; simmer 15 minutes, uncovered.
