Ingredients to make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, pumpkin and vanilla.
- Mix and sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
- Add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix thoroughly.
- Using a large ice cream scoop, scoop cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 300 degrees F for about 22-24 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven, let them sit on cookie sheet for a minute or so, then place them on racks to cool.
