This Black Bean and Chickpea Hummus recipe is very easy to made, you only need about 10 minutes to cook it. This recipe is also low calories and healthy diet recipe, so you can add this recipe to your healthy low calories diet menu list.

Ingredients to make Black Bean and Chickpea Hummus recipe :
  • 1 cup canned black beans, drained
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 cup canned garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons plain nonfat yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons water
Preparation and Method to make Black Bean and Chickpea Hummus recipe :
  1. Place black beans, garbanzo beans, olive oil, lemon juice, yogurt, water, and garlic into the bowl of a blender.
  2. Season with curry powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and puree until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
