  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can black-eyed peas
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation and Method to make Blister Beans recipe :
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the black beans and black-eyed peas with their juices.
  2. Season with garlic powder, cumin, ginger, salt, onion flakes, mustard, and hot pepper sauce.
