- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 pound linguine pasta, uncooked
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
