Low Calories and Healthy Diet Recipe German Potato Salad

This German Potato Salad is easy and healthy diet recipe. This recipe is also low calories. You can add this recipe to your healthy low calories diet menu.

Ingredients to make German Potato Salad :
  • 10 medium potatoes
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 3/4 cups Swanson Beef Broth
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation and Method to make German Potato Salad :
  1. Place potatoes in saucepan. Cover with water.
  2. Heat to a boil. Cook over low heat 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  3. Drain. Cool and cut into cubes.
  4. Mix broth, vinegar, flour, sugar, celery seed, salt and black pepper in saucepan.
  5. Add onion. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
  6. Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
  7. Toss potatoes, parsley and broth mixture until evenly coated. Serve warm.
